This cleaning brush is just what I was looking for. I have a clarinet and I picked this up to clean the inside. It works perfectly for a clarinet and I imagine it will be just as good for a Sax.
The color is a really deep purple – it almost looks black until you get up close to it.

Extremely effective cleaner! My new sax may not be singing the sultry tones I want it to yet, but I’m learning! This brush helps me do regular maintenance that has helped the sound of sax, and encouraged me to continue practicing by keeping it clean. Though I should say, I can see this thing getting absolutely filthy over a period of prolonged use by someone who plays regularly, perhaps with a local orchestra. Luckily I am a beginner and just practicing, so I have a feeling this brush will last me for a while to come.
