   Goopy goodness

   I actually bought this for a different use than its original intended (a band instrument repair thing) but it worked really well for that. I can’t tell you exactly how it will work on a bow, but you are definitely going to have to be very careful because this stuff can get very messy.

   Worked fine for my hurdy-gurdy

   Hurdy-gurdies have a rosined wheel instead of a bow like that of a violin, viola or cello. Using cake rosin on the wheel can result in uneven amounts causing tonal issues. This rosin went on smoothly and resulted in a thin, even coat.
